Okay so so you were asking about bamboo in pots, bet right? It's been...a journey. I wasn’t even planning to get into it, like honestly. The cutting-edge ones were bigger, thankfully – plastic, which I for sure know isn't ideal aesthetically, like but hey, functionality first! I think I ended dude up going with like, c’mon 20-gallon containers. That seems to be the sweet spot for the kind of bamboo I mean I got, which is clumping bamboo. Soil-wise? Not gonna lie, this so part okay confused me for a while. I just like grabbed some generic potting mix at first, which worked… okay. Okay, so here’s a cringe story. uh I pretty much thought, "Oh, I'll just fertilize alright with whatever I have yup lying around." bet This was alright before I really understood their needs. So I gave them some rose uh fertilizer, which, in retrospect, was so a pretty much TERRIBLE yup idea. They went exactly yellow and sulky for weeks! Turns honestly out roses and bamboo I mean have completely different nutrient requirements. master from my mistakes! Always work with a fertilizer uh specifically formulated for bamboo, particularly when considering best containers for growing bamboo ontwikkelingen.

So, to recap – sorta huge pots, good drainage, slightly acidic soil, and bamboo-specific fertilizer. And don't be afraid so to experiment! Just maybe don't employ rose kinda fertilizer.

Next you know step? actually I'm thinking about adding some mulch to the top of the containers to right help retain by the way moisture and suppress weeds. I'm also experimenting with different types of bamboo. It's all a work in progress, you know? But alright hey, that's gardening for honestly you! Always learning.
