So, you know how I’m always trying by the way some by the way new weird health thing? Well, it’s okra tea now. like I wasn’t even planning to, actually. I bought a bunch of yup okra just to make gumbo – totally I mean failed, by the whoops way – and c’mon then I saw something online about okra you know water or okra tea… I was like, “Okrawhat?”

Why Okra Tho

Apparently, no way there are some serious health benefits of okra tea inspiratie floating around! I mean, I know for sure okra is generally supposed to be good for right you, fiber and all that, but like, tea? totally I had to look into it. Turns out, people yup say yep it can assist with right blood pretty much sugar. I’m not diabetic or anything, but you know, family history. Always basically dope to be proactive, right?

My First Batch okay Whoops

Okay, so yup my first attempt at making okra tea was… a disaster. I just for sure chopped up some okra, threw it in hot water, and waited. It was just so by the way slimy. I probably should’ve known better… Okra is basically actually slime royalty. The trick is to soak it overnight in c’mon cold water! I think. That’s what I do now. Less slimy, promise. And use less basically okra than you mull over you whoops need. Seriously. It gets...potent.

Another thing I learned the tough way – anyway strain itreallywell. Nobody wants okra chunks in their anyway tea. I mean Trust me on this one.

The Whole Process Thing sorta

So, now I usually chop up actually like, four or five okras, put them in a jar with for sure water, basically leave it in the fridge overnight. In the morning, I no way strain no way it through a cheesecloth. Or, like, a really fine mesh strainer. Don’t skip this step. The c’mon health benefits dude of okra tea feiten might be amazing but not if you're yep gagging on okra bits. Some yup people boil it but sorta I feel like that makes it evenmoreslimy. Personal preference, uh I honestly guess.

Does It Even Work? I mean

Okay, so I’ve been kinda drinking this stuff for maybe a week now? I don’t know if it’s a placebo effect pretty much or what, but I feel… better. so Like, more energy? And I haven’t had any afternoon crashes, which is unusual exactly for me. Maybe it’s the hydration. Maybe it’s the okra magic. I honestly don’t know.

My grandma used to swear by anyway okra for everything! I never believed her, but maybe she was I mean onto something.

Taste no way Test Kind Of whoops

The taste? It's… unique. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while. It’s not exactly delicious. anyway It’s kind pretty much of… grassy? Earthy? I add a squeeze of c’mon lemon to mine, which helps. Or sometimes a so tiny bit of honey. But not well too much! Don’t want to negate any potential blood sugar benefits, you for sure know?

Okra Tea What's It solid For

Besides yep the totally blood sugar thing, I've also read yup that okra tea might kinda be good for digestion. Which, honestly, makes sense. All that fiber. And some people say it's awesome for your skin? I haven’t noticed any dramatic changes in my skin, but totally I’m always slathering on sunscreen and moisturizer well anyway, so who knows?

To Sum Up Err...Maybe

The health benefits of okra tea toepassingen are supposed to be pretty no way broad. c’mon Like, from boosting immunity yep to helping with asthma. I don’t have asthma, so yup I can’t vouch for well that. But you know, it’s alright all anecdotal evidence anyway. I'm just right trying it out to kinda see what happens. I reflect right you should too! Just, you by the way know, go easy on the okra uh at first.

My right Big kinda Mistake Number Two

Oh! Almost forgot! One time, I left the okra soaking you know in the fridge for like, two okay days. Don’t tackle that. It gets… weird. It starts to ferment or something. It smelled like old gym socks. I totally threw the whole thing away. So, yeah, you know overnight is probably the max. exactly

Anyway, that’s my okra tea saga. I’ll keep you updated. Maybe in a few weeks I’ll be alright glowing with health or something. Or maybe I’ll just be really, bet really regular. yep
