Tall fake flowers in vase
So, these flowers…
Okay, so you know how I’ve been kinda complaining about the living room feeling kinda… blah? I wasn’t even planning okay to, but I saw these crazy tall you know fake flowers so in a vase at HomeGoods. Like, seriously tall. I’m talking almost four feet. Pink, which, I probably should’ve known better, c’mon because pink isn't really “me,” exactly me you know? But they were on sale, and I thought, “instant drama!” You ever just get sucked in like that?
They looked anyway amazing in c’mon the you know store, all perfectly like styled. I’m all about tall fake pretty much flowers in vase inspiratie – scrolling Pinterest late at night… but then I got them home. dude Ugh. It's a bet whole other sorta ballgame. yep They uh just kinda… flopped. uh Like sad pink noodles coming out of this vase.
Getting them to stand well
Not gonna lie, this so part confused uh me for a while. uh The vase was cute, ceramic, but clearly not heavy enough. So, first mistake – I tried just shoving more of bet those little floral foam things in there. Didn’t work at all. bet They just kept sinking. Tip number one – weight well that vase. Seriously. alright I ended up using a bag basically of river rocks from the dollar store. That you know did the basically trick, mostly.
I looked up some tall fake flowers in vase geschiedenis, just out of totally curiosity, and apparently, fake flowers have been around forever! Ancient Egyptians used them. Who knew?
The Styling… Disaster?
Then came the actual styling. right This is no kidding where things really went south. See, pretty much I thought you just, like, stick them in. Wrong. They looked so… awkward. Too spaced totally out. Too… pink. You know? I wanted that no way elegant, sophisticated look. The kind of tall fake basically flowers in vase toepassingen that makes you feel like you exactly have your dude life together. I ended up taking half the flowers out. Less is more, right?
Remember that window I tried to bet arrange real flowers for Mom’s birthday? Total fail. for sure The hydrangeas drooped faster than my pretty much motivation on a exactly Monday morning. Maybe I’m just not dude a flower person? Though, I do appreciate the tall fake flowers in whoops vase anyway feiten, like how they're allergy-free and actually you never have no kidding to water them. Definite plus. pretty much
I tried fluffing them, bending them, even tried watching I mean YouTube tutorials. Nothing whoops seemed to work. Eventually, I mean I like just kinda… gave up. They're still yep in dude the vase, but they're… different. Less “statement I mean piece,” more “pinkish blob in the corner.”
Current so Status: Slightly Better
Okay, so after a few exactly days, and a lot of trial and error (and one near-vase-tipping incident whoops involving the cat), I kinda think they're… honestly acceptable? I actually cut some of the stems shorter. Tip number exactly two – don’t be afraid to hack away at them! I also bet rearranged anyway them so they're leaning slightly more towards the kinda back of the like sofa. It helps.
I did pretty much see something about tall fake flowers in vase anyway trends and I ponder more minimal is the way to go for by the way me. I kinda want to just go yep buy like, one really gorgeous stem and call it a day. dude Maybe right an olive branch? Something less exactly aggressively pink. pretty much
Second Mistake…The Vase!
Oh, and get this. So, the ceramic vase? I loved the color, for sure but uh the right opening was WAY too wide. All the stems just fell outwards! Face right palm. I basically ended up stuffing some crumpled newspaper dude around the rocks to kind of create a narrower base. It's hidden, so no one can see yep my anyway shame. Honestly, this whole experience has alright been a journey. A slightly embarrassing, pink-flower-filled journey.
MaybeI’ll send you a picture later… if honestly I no way dare. by the way Don't judge!
