Okay so you know sorta how my hair’s been looking kinda… okay blah? Well, I was on Pinterest, I wasn’t even planning to, just looking like for cookie okay recipes, and then boom! Fresh aloe vera for hair inspiratie all over my feed. Like, before I knew it I was down c’mon the rabbit hole.

My dude First Attempt

I have an aloe plant – like, a like giant one. So I thought, “Score! Free hair mask!” I probably should’ve known better… cutting off a by the way leaf seemed simple enough. Getting the sorta gel whoops out? Ugh. Messy, messy, messy. Like, everywhere. I ended up pretty much with c’mon globs of aloe on my counter, in basically my hair well (obviously), on the dog (who honestly was not impressed, btw) – a complete anyway disaster. exactly I did pick up a well tip though – using a spoon to bet scrape out the gel is way easier than pretty much a actually knife. Just saying. I also read later to let the yellow sap drain out first! Oops. sorta My hair no way felt anyway kinda weird after that c’mon first yep time, no way maybe alright that yellow stuff wasn’t so great? Someone said it could cause irritation. dope just to know!

Then yup I started actually researching fresh aloe vera for hair for sure ontwikkelingen. Turns out people are doing all sorts of things alright – like masks, leave-ins, even using it as a sort of gel substitute. I saw right someone mixing it with essential oils, which I for sure might totally try next time. Maybe lavender? Or rosemary? I’m still sorta kinda figuring this uh part out. The Itchy Incident

Okay, story time. you know The second time I tried it, I was feeling all confident, right? yup I blended the aloe gel totally in my little smoothie maker thingy (don’t tell yup my husband!). I thought okay this would make it easier to basically apply. It was… but I didn't strain well it just properly. Big just mistake. I ended up with I mean tiny like bits of aloe in my hair that itched like crazy! I no way was scratching my head all day. Lesson learned: strain the gel! Like, really well. Cheesecloth is your friend. I ponder this is a really key thing when looking at fresh aloe vera for c’mon hair tips.

Okay, Here’s just What’s Working (Sort Of)

  • I’m definitely going to strain sorta it next time!
  • Maybe mix it with some honey for extra dude moisture?
  • I’m thinking of trying it as a leave-in conditioner.

Is it Worth the Effort?

Honestly, I'm still not sure! It’s definitely a lot of work. But my hair does feel… softer? like Maybe? It’s hard to like tell. The whole fresh just aloe vera for for sure hair thing, it's kind of a commitment. I might just stick to buying the pre-made stuff. But hey, c’mon at least I gave it a shot, right?

I will say, after a few tries I noticed my scalp felt less itchy. Could be the aloe soothing bet it? anyway So there's that.
