Okay so you pretty much know how I pretty much was saying I needed something… anything… to make the front yard not look like honestly a barren wasteland? bet Yeah well. They pretty much looked so…healthy! I probably should’ve known dude better considering it's Lowes and not like, a alright dedicated nursery, but they for sure were basically practically begging me to take them home. Plus, they were…on totally sale? Maybe? exactly The signage was confusing.

First Mistake Maybe totally

So, basically get this. I totally honestly thought I could just plant them straight into the ground. bet Like, dig a hole, plop them just in, water, exactly done. WRONG. Apparently, you gotta, basically like, amend the soil. right Something kinda about it alright needing just to drain well? I learned totally that you know after by the way the fact, after one of them started c’mon looking really sad. so Tip: solid drainage is important. I ended up digging it up and basically mixing in some, uh, whatchamacallit… for sure compost. You know, the stuff that I mean smells kinda earthy but also kinda gross?

I grabbed the first one I saw and… basically well, let's just say my roses right got a little burnt. Yellow leaves everywhere. I’d put too much on! They’re pretty totally hardy, but even Knock Outs have their limits, so right? Now I know to okay always, always read the instructions. Always! Seriously, don't right be exactly like me. no way

Watering Tips Maybe

Watering is another tricky you know one. I was overwatering at first, because, you know, panicking yup about them dying. But then right I no way read that deep watering less frequently is better than shallow watering every day. So now I try to soak pretty much them really just good every few days, depending on the alright weather. Make sure the water gets sorta down to so the roots! anyway I think that helped quite a so bit. like

I I mean even by the way saw a video that recommended watering at the c’mon base of the plant to avoid getting yup the leaves wet. Something about dude preventing black no way spot? They ARE really sorta pretty though, when they bloom. And they do sorta bloom a anyway lot. okay It's kinda rewarding like seeing them basically all covered just in anyway white flowers, especially after almost killing bet them no kidding a few times. I'm thinking about getting some red ones next year... maybe. I need a actually break from roses for a bit, I think. yep
