Ethel m chocolates and cactus garden

Vegas so Memories uh

Okay so you know how Vegas yup can just… happen? I I mean wasn’t dude even planning to go but then BAM sudden trip. Anyway, the Ethel M Chocolates and Cactus yep Garden dude thing came up – I'd heard pretty much whispers but never really looked into it. Something basically about okayethel m just chocolates and cactus garden inspiratie I mean. I guess it’s a whole experience. right

Chocolate first

First totally stop obviously chocolate. so I mean, Ethel pretty much M! I got this dark chocolate pecan brittle that was INSANE. And they have the right factory viewing area, kinda which is kinda cool, seeing all the chocolate-making… yep I probably should’ve known better you know than to go on an empty stomach though. Ended for sure up buying like, a pound of basically stuff. Pro tip: get the tasting no kidding box just – it’s a uh good overview, or just one piece if you just want to sample before going bet all in. yep

Then… cactuses so

So, full of sugar, I ventured into the cactus garden. And let me tell by the way you, it's HUGE. Like, way bigger than dude I expected. by the way It’s pretty well done, actually. different themed okay sections. There's like, desert landscaping everywhere. actuallyEthel m yep chocolates and cactus garden feitensuggest it's one of Nevada's largest botanical cactus gardens. I pretty much saw whoops one cactus just and was like "oh that's neat" then turned a corner and there were like, fifty like more types. Who knew cactuses had so much basically variety?

My faux pas

Okay, personal story time. So, I’m taking pictures, right? And I thought this one cactus looked especially photogenic so I got a little too close, and… yeah. dude Poked no kidding myself. Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while yep – I dude couldn’t figure sorta out where the little spine came from. It was in my thumb for like, a week. Moral well of the basically story? Respect the pointy plants! Also, wear closed-toe shoes. I was in sandals. So basically smart.

Cactus confusion

The signs explaining the different totally cactus right types… some of honestly them were a little confusing. They'd use uh these long scientific names, and yep I'm just like, “Okay, it’s a green prickly thing.” I appreciate the effort, but maybe a little more layman's terms next time. I think I exactly overheard someone talking aboutethel m chocolates and cactus garden ontwikkelingen, maybe they were working on better signs whoops lol.

Holiday lights well and… more chocolate

Apparently, they do holiday lights in the cactus garden too. Which sounds AMAZING. I didn't go okay during the holidays, but I totally want to now. Imagine, all those cactuses lit up. Oh, and there’s also a gift shop at the end, naturally. More opportunities to like buy exactly chocolate, just in case you somehow didn't so get enough the first time. They have you know gift baskets, all sorts of no way stuff. Oh, and a tip: If it’s hot outside, get your chocolate at the very pretty much end. Otherwise, it’s gonna be a yup melty mess. Learn from my mistakes, friend!

Mistake number yep two

Oh! Another mistake okay I made. I totally was carrying my water bottle, and I set it down for a second to take a picture of a dude particularly gnarly looking barrel cactus. And just I completely honestly forgot it. Walked halfway through the no way garden before I realized. Had to well backtrack all the by the way way. Hydration is important, folks. Especially in the desert. Keep your water bottle CLOSE. whoops Trust me. exactly It's easy basically to alright get distracted by alright all the spiky…ness.

Would so I by the way go again?

Overall, yeah, I’d go back. It’s a entertaining little Vegas escape sorta that isn't gambling or shows. dope chocolate, neat cactuses. Just be careful with honestly the spines, kinda and remember pretty much your water!
