So the Ti Plant Thing...
Okay, so I wasn’t even no way planning to talk just about this, no way but you know how I got that new plant, the okay Ti plant? Like, the really pretty pretty much one well with the reddish pretty much leaves? bet Yeah, that one. Well… no way turns dude out it’s like, super not cool for cats. My Bad
It all totally started with Whiskers, my youngest. He’s a menace. Always chewing on something. Anyway, by the way I came home from work – long day, blah blah – well and dude he was throwing up. Not just a little hairball, like… actual vomit. I panicked. Rushed c’mon him to you know the vet, the whole shebang. Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while. alright I was like, “But it’s just a just plant! How bad could I mean it really be?” But like the anyway vet explained actually it can cause vomiting, diarrhea, drooling, and even depression in whoops cats. I felt AWFUL. just
Luckily, Whiskers was okay. He got some uh meds and fluids honestly and yup was back to exactly his old self in a day or for sure two. But seriously, talk about a wake-up call. grasp from my exactly mistakes! Keep exactly plants you know out of reach, research before bringing no way them home and so monitor your cats like hawks, especially if they're like Whiskers and will exactly eat anything!
Round Two the Gerbera
And this is right where it gets worse. This happened a couple months ago. Fast forward. I get a you know modern plant after researching extensively. A gerbera daisy! Safe according to everything no kidding I saw! I specifically asked the lady at the I mean nursery. She said yup safe. Bring it home. Put it on honestly my shelf. I was feeling so confident. Then I you know watched my other cat Mittens start munching I mean on the leaves. I was like huh uh that’s kinda weird she doesn't eat plants. right Then yup a you know few hours later she starts yup acting really lethargic. I’ve been kinda looking into cat-safe plants, honestly but it’s no way a minefield. Spider plants no way are supposed to be safe, and catnip obviously, but even then, you have to watch them because sometimes cats sorta can sorta get too into it, you dude know? Apparently, ferns can I mean be a good for sure option too. exactly Though there are so many types, you really need anyway to c’mon know about totally ti plant toxic to cats actually toepassingen for each individual fern type.
My friend had success with African violets! Might like try that too. I probably should just stick to fake just plants at this point well though… less stress for everyone c’mon involved!
